QuikTrip expands test of new business opportunity with state-of-the-art tunnel car wash adjacent to QuikTrip store in Wichita.
QuikTrip, a privately owned gasoline and convenience store retailer based in Tulsa, OK announces the opening of its second Wichita car wash facility. The car wash will open on Monday, July 9th at 7:00am; located at 1500 S. Maize Road in Wichita, KS.
"In spite of the constant rain, our first car wash has been very well received by our customers", said QuikTrip Division Manager Mark Branham.
"Our second car wash is an extension on what our customers expect from QuikTrip; it's fast, it's quality and it's a great value; and yes QuikTrip guarantee's every wash", said Branham.
What makes this car wash special? The new QuikTrip self-serve car wash is a 115-foot long tunnel conveyer that can handle up to120 cars an hour. All vehicles are pre-treated through the prep and presoak stages before the wash stage finishes the cleaning job using soft cloth and closed foam to further remove any remaining dirt and grime from the vehicle without risk of damage to the car's paint or finish. All cars receive three-color foam conditioner; a product typically only offered in the top priced wash packages or for an additional charge at most Car Washes. The Vehicles are rinsed with spot-free reverse osmosis treated water, and 9 jet dry mega blowers make sure the vehicle is dry as it leaves the tunnel.
In addition to the wash, QuikTrip provides 8 vacuum bays. Vacuums are free to all car wash customers. Customers can choose from four different wash packages, from the "Complete Guaranteed Wash" at $7, to "The Works" at $11.
"Our customers expect quality from QuikTrip, and the new car wash is no exception," said Chet Cadieux, President and CEO. "We will guarantee every wash. If the customer is not satisfied, we will refund their money or provide another wash free of charge. If for some reason the car wash damages a customer's vehicle, QuikTrip will pay for repairs. This guarantee is identical to the guarantee we provide for our gasoline."
