ST. LOUIS (June 6, 2018) – St. Louis Cardinals fans have the opportunity to financially support military families by purchasing tickets to home games through a dedicated Cardinals webpage, thanks to a 2018 season sponsorship by QuikTrip (QT).

For all home game tickets purchased at https://www.mlb.com/cardinals/tickets/specials/quiktrip, the Cardinals will donate 20 percent of the price of each ticket directly to the non-profit organization Folds of Honor, which empowers military families by providing educational scholarships to children and spouses of military men and women killed or disabled while serving our nation. Folds of Honor is one of QT’s primary charity partners. The convenience store marketer and its customers support the organization with donations, promotions and events throughout the year.

This partnership between QT and the St. Louis Cardinals aims to enlist the great Cardinals fanbase to support the dreams of families of fallen or disabled American military heroes through Folds of Honor.

“We are so excited about this partnership with the Cardinals organization this baseball season and to raise awareness and generate financial support for our longtime charity partner Folds of Honor,” said Mendi Parker, QT’s Manager of Store Marketing / PR & Events. “We encourage Cardinals fans to use our dedicated webpage to purchase their tickets throughout the entire season, as a portion of their ticket purchase will directly benefit children and spouses of our courageous military men and women.”

Since 2007, Folds of Honor has awarded more than 10,000 scholarships to military children and spouses in all 50 states. Folds of Honor awards scholarships for private education in secondary schools, universities and colleges, technical schools, graduate schools and certification programs.

“We’re proud to partner with QT and support the Folds of Honor organization to ensure that no family is left behind on the field of battle,” said Thane van Breusegen, Vice President Corporate Sales, Marketing and Stadium Entertainment of the Cardinals. “It is important to our organization to create charitable partnerships with organizations that impact strong and meaningful causes, and admire Folds of Honor and its mission to support children and spouses of fallen or disabled military members. We hope Redbird Nation will rally with us to support this great cause through ticket sales.”
